Location/Transportation
Dubois County is located approximately 60 miles east of Evansville, 65 miles west of Louisville, KY and 120 miles south of Indianapolis. Dubois County is also within 300 miles of Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis and Nashville.
Dubois County is served by I-64, providing east/west connections between St. Louis and eastern markets. U.S. Highway 231 runs north/south, providing access to Indianapolis and Chicago.

Air access is also available via the Evansville Regional Airport, Louisville International Airport, and the Indianapolis International Airport. Also, Huntingburg Airport provides a lighted 5,000-foot runway for charter and light cargo services.
Huntingburg also offers connection to the Norfolk Southern rail system. Norfolk Southern operates on a dense web of rails connecting cities as far west as Kansas City and Dallas to every major market east of the Mississippi River.
