Purdue TAP Office Comes to Jasper

Dubois County and its regional partners are welcoming a new manufacturing and business resource, the Purdue Technical Assistance Program, to Jasper.  The Technical Assistance Program (TAP) links business and industry to the extensive knowledge and resources available from Purdue University in an effort to strengthen Indiana’s economy and improve the quality of life of Hoosiers.

The Purdue TAP offers a variety of programs and services including advanced manufacturing training, business innovation, and healthcare assistance all designed to increase the performance of its clients.  Since the TAP program began in 1986, it has done just that, helping more than 4,700 organizations, boosting sales statewide by $339 million, and creating or retaining 4,700 jobs, according to the participating organizations.

The program was brought to Jasper by a regional partnership between economic development organizations from Crawford, Dubois, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Washington counties, as well as the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Purdue University.  This partnership is hosting a rollout event scheduled for:
